The adidas Boston Marathon experience amplifies the world’s oldest annual marathon that ranks as one of the world’s most prestigious road racing events. A proud partner and sponsor for over 25 years as well as Official Footwear and Apparel Supplier of the Boston Marathon, adidas engages participants with over 16,000 sq. ft. of brand and retail space in the expo hall.


The brand activates two key messages outside and inside the experience. The exterior focuses on a positive Boston Strong communication that references last year’s events while the race carries the “We All Run Boston” tagline. Runners, volunteers and spectators “tag” the exterior walls with personal messages of encouragement and support. The interior focuses more on product messaging, primarily supporting the company’s Boost technology with hands-on, interactive product engagements.

Adidas continues its commitment to the spirit of the marathon and its strong community of runners, volunteers and spectators. Maintaining its long-standing tradition with the Boston Athletic Association, adidas is proud to supply exclusive Boston Marathon jackets to more than 9,000 B.A.A. volunteers and more than 3,500 race officials and media personnel. adidas provides 30,000 participant tees to Boston Marathon runners. The official collection of the adidas Boston Marathon performance apparel and footwear is available to race participants and fans at the John Hancock Sports & Fitness Expo, Boston Marathon adidas RunBase, and at select local retailers.
